The Abe & Jar Beard Brush  is uniquely designed from Horse Hair Bristle with an Oak Wood base. The bristles penetrate through most beards to provide a gentle massage, while ensuring that the oil cover the hairs completely and make it all the way to the hair underneath. While the natural horse hair bristles will fall out from time to time; they can be removed from your Beard; this is a normal part of owning a natural hair brush! And while the wood is porous, over time, the wood will absorb the oils you use and may even show through on the top side. This is to be expected and is not harmful.
